Department of Philosophy – University of Milan

After receiving my PhD in Philosophy at the University of Rome “La Sapienza” (2010), I worked as post-doc in UK (University College London), Germany (Siegen University and TU Dortmund) and France (ENS Paris). In 2014 I moved to Barcelona and worked as Marie Curie Fellow at the Centre for the History of Science of the UAB and in 2017, I joined the Department of Philosophy as Ramón y Cajal Fellow. From April 2021 to December 2022, I was research fellow at the Department of Philosophy (University of Milan) and became Associate Professor in January 2023. I am PI of the ERC Project PROTEUS (2018-2024) and PI of the COSMOS Project. I am currently working at the intersection of the foundations of physics, philosophy and cosmology. I am particularly interested in showing the impact of current astrophysics and cosmology on the philosophy of science, philosophy of time and epistemology.
